DEFCON has grown over the years. The first few cons only had a few hundred people attending. That meant that everyone knew everyone to some degree. Now that the size has grown to over THIRTEEN FUCKING THOUSAND PEOPLE it’s tough to get to know the cool people. That’s where predefcon shines, it’s the real people, the ones who want to hang out and relax. No vendors, no pretentious asshole speaker-circuit types, no feds, just real people. Well, maybe some feds, sometimes they look just like us...Anyway, bring booze to share, get a hotel room, bring your swim trunks, and come have fun! We’ll be at Pool 3, if no one is there just start the party and people will join you! You should be able to tell the hackers from the “normals”...
